This program showcases highlights from the Under The Radar Festival produced by Mark Russell which took place at The Public Theatre in New York City in January 2006. Under The Radar was a celebration of contemporary, independent, experimental theatre and featured some of the world’s most adventuresome and provocative artists including Brazil’s Cia dos Atores, France’s Superamas, Holland’s Kassys, England’s Tim Crouch and Australia’s William Yang. Included in the program are clips from “Rehearsal Hamlet” by Cia dos Atores, “Big 2nd Episode” by Superamas, “Kommer” by Kassys, “My Left Arm” by Tim Crouch, “Shadows” by William Yang as well as interviews with the artists, leading producers and presenters audience members offering a virtual crash course/symposium on new trends in international theatre. 32 minutes.
