A young woman travels by subway from Astoria, Queens to Manhattan.
Looking at commuters around her she asks “what is a life worth living?” Reflecting on that question she journeys to Times Square, back to the new
high rises on the Long Island City waterfront and to an eerily lit loft. Written and performed by Greek actor/dancer/ choreographer/ Argyro Kourliti
the film combines monologue and dance to examine psychological displacement.
Multiple and mirror images of Kourliti’s body in motion visualize the confusion brought on by a collision of inner voices.
Directed and edited by choreographer/director Charles Dennis with original
music by Spyro Karagiannis. Running time: 6:42
